Description
Used Caterpillar 8N1298 cast iron support bracket / adapter housing, removed from a CAT 3400-series (3406 / 3408) engine. CAT yellow casting with the 8N1298 part number clearly cast into the body. Flanged port on one end, machined mounting foot with threaded bosses on the other. Shows normal shop soil, paint wear, and light surface oxidation consistent with a used take-off; gasket surfaces appear serviceable after cleaning.
Application: Caterpillar 3406 / 3408 (3400-series) industrial, marine, and on-highway engines.
