Description
Application: Marine engine aftercooler (charge air cooler) core, believed to fit Caterpillar 3208 TA turbocharged marine diesel engines. Copper/brass tube-and-fin core with brass end tanks, flanged mounting plate, and large air outlet snout with O-ring seat.
Condition: Used take-off, sold as a rebuildable core. Surface corrosion, green oxidation, and some minor bent fins visible; not cleaned, not pressure-tested. Recommended for cleaning, pressure test, and re-core by a qualified shop before service. Fluids drained and ports capped prior to shipment.
