Description
Used Caterpillar OEM aftercooler core, P/N 241-2850, removed from a CAT C-9 marine diesel engine. This is the core component of CAT aftercooler assembly 315-8339. Copper/brass core with cast bronze end tanks and machined mounting flange; OEM part number stamped directly on the flange. Overall condition is a solid rebuild/recondition candidate — fins intact, joints appear sound, typical raw-water side oxidation around the port bores. Not pressure-tested; recommended to clean, pressure-test, and re-seal before service.
