Barbron 381005B marine flame arrestor, SAE J-1928 certified, manufactured by Barbron Corp., Detroit, MI. Expanded-metal mesh element with three-stud top plate and slotted single-barrel carburetor throat clamp.
Application: USCG-compliant flame arrestor for gasoline marine inboard/IO engines with a single-barrel carburetor sized to the 381005B throat clamp (older MerCruiser, Crusader, Chris-Craft, Gray Marine, Palmer and similar).
Condition: Used take-off. Mesh is clean and intact, all studs, nuts, and clamp screws present, light heat discoloration on the plating consistent with normal service.
